2014 Officer Elections Are Coming!
October 7th, 2013
Terry Stinnett, a professor of psychology at Oklahoma State University, will be our guest speaker on Monday October 7th!
Stinnett is a licensed health service psychologist, a professor, and the director of training for the school psychology doctoral program at Oklahoma State University. His talk will include a discussion about the OSU school psychology program and information on the "Captured Slot." Captured slots are slots reserved in OSU school psychology program for qualified University of Arkansas students!
Following the talk there will be a social hour with free food and drinks.
We will be meeting in Kimpel Hall Room 209 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Are you interested in being an executive officer for 2014? In the spring the following positions will be available: Treasurer, Secretary & Social Media Director (twitter, facebook, and the website). If you would like more information please contact a current officer!

Tuesday November 5th at 5:30 pm in MEMH 113 - Glenda House, M.S.W present at our meeting to discuss the University's social work program and mental health care. A representative from the Family Network will also be present to discuss their work and our philanthropic involvement. Lastly, the first 15 minutes of the meeting will be dedicated to elections for 2014 officers! We are in need of a Secretary/Social Media Director and a Treasurer. Any individuals interested should contact Kate Sosna.
Thursday November 7th – We are having a social hour before the Pete Earley Talk on his book “Crazy: A Father’s Search through America’s Mental Health Madness.” At this social hour we will have free food and drinks before attending the lecture in the Union!
